Dr. Rebecca Gelber graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1993 and completed her residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After eight years as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of California Davis Medical Center, she decided to make her home in Tahoe, where since she taught and practiced at the University of Nevada at Reno Medical School.

Since that time she has completed a preceptorship in aesthetics, liposculpture, as well as specialized training with luminaries across the country in IPL/BBL and laser therapies, botox, dermal fillers, acne and specialized facial treatments. She has founded and owns Tahoe Aesthetic Medicine and also offers specialized training to other providers,both in her Tahoe office and through site visits to physicians’ practices. She has been selected by Sciton, the premier aesthetic laser company, as one of the physicians they use to train physicians, nurse practitioners and other medical providers on laser skin treatments.

In 2015 she was awarded “Best Face Makeover” by THE Aesthetic Show and in 2019 won “Best Non-Surgical Facial Improvement” in the USA from MyFaceMyBody

She prides herself on being one of the few physicians who personally performs all her office procedures.
